About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government Agency to engage a Senior Salesforce Developer. This position is located in their busy Canberra office for an initial 12 month contract.
About the Position
We are seeking to reimagine the way citizens interact with government and are seeking to build digital services which are customised and enable citizens to create a more personalised experience.


  • Implementing Salesforce based solutions using Apex programming language, Lightning Web Components, Integration technologies (RestAPI, SOAP, Platform Event), Process Builder, Flow Builder etc.
  • Develop and implement automated functional tests for Salesforce.
  • Deploying change sets and packages.
  • Conduct code reviews and peer programming.
  • Mentoring junior Salesforce developers.
  • Work on troubleshooting and support tasks.

Mandatory Requirements/Skills

  • 6+ years’ experience working in Salesforce Development with a range of Salesforce technologies including, but not limited, to, Service Cloud, Community Cloud etc.
  • Solid working experience with Salesforce Apex programming language, Lightning Web Component (including HTML5, CSS3, Javascript), Aura Component, Integration, Data Modelling, App Builder, Flow Builder, Process Builder, Salesforce DX, Git repository, Continuous Deployment pipeline (GitLab or Azure DevOp).
  • Salesforce Certifications (minimum Platform Developer 1)
  • Experience working in an Agile (Scrum) environment

Desirable Requirements/Skills

  • Tertiary qualifications in information technology and/or computer sciences.
  • Working experience in Salesforce Mobile SDK and Salesforce Mobile App Development.
  • Working experience in MuleSoft integration development.
  • Solid knowledge or experience in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
  • Experience of using Visual Code, SOAP UI, Postman
  • Working and experience working with OmniStudio is advantageous
