Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government Agency to engage an Customer Service Officer – Corporate Services. This position is located in their busy Dickson ACT office for an initial contract until 14/07/2024
About the Position
The Customer Service Officer is a dynamic, diverse and busy role within Corporate Services. You will possess excellent customer service experience and demonstrate this to external and internal stakeholders. The administrative component of this role is diverse and provides an opportunity to gain a breadth of experience across Work Health and Safety, Human Resources, Records Management, and building and fleet management.


  • Provide high quality customer service to a diverse range of clients and general public customers.
  • Liaise with clients, staff, managers and key stakeholders to support and achieve quality outcomes.
  • Contribute to the improvement of workplace processes and procedures, particularly regarding improving client service and efficiency of operational requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Undertake daily administration matters including records management, processing invoices and monitoring expenditure, fleet and uniform administration.
  • General Human Resource enquiries.
  • Assist with HR onboarding; Send out new starter onboarding and induction information including managing the workflow process.
  • Draft procedures, communications and reports and guidelines.
  • Assist with the Corporate Services Issues Log Register.


  • Demonstrated experience and confidence in providing satisfactory customer experiences
  • Demonstrated proficiency in telephony systems and CRM, Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, as well as knowledge of, or ability to develop proficiency in the use of Electronic Document Management Record System (EDRMS)
  • First aid or fire warden qualification and/or willingness to obtain one and be designated as first aid and/or fire warden officer (Desirable)
  • Cleared police check
