Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Private Company to engage an Team Assistant. This position is located in their busy Sydney office for an initial Permanent/Full time contract.
  
About the Position
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to provide proactive and quality administrative and coordination support to the corporate social responsibility team.
The role will see you providing personal assistant support to the head of corporate social responsibility and support the first nations strategies lead and sustainability analyst. 

Duties/Responsibilities will include:

  • Diary management for head of corporate social responsibility, including arranging travel, booking meetings and handling calls.
  • Manage incoming enquiries and requests for time and information on behalf of the head of corporate social responsibility.
  • Email management and monitoring responses to voicemails and other correspondence.
  • Processing of invoices and expenses reimbursements.
  • Preparation of presentations, statistic reports and assisting with events.
  • Maintain a list of activity, tasks and projects in the team and providing regular updates to the head of corporate social responsibility on activity status.
  • Assisting with the team and first nations cadetship program including coordinating training, ensuring team planner is updated and recording leave.
  • Assisting the first nations strategies lead with different events.
  • Support research and general administrative requirements for our team efforts.
  • Maintaining meeting agenda and minutes for first nation’s committee meetings.
  • Assist with writing, editing and proofing a variety of marketing materials, reports and other documents.

Requirements/Skills

  • Relevant qualifications in business and/or administration.
  • 1+ years’ experience as an executive or personal assistant and experience supporting a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Strong interest and experience with First Nations affairs and corporate social responsibility.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills.
  • Ability to stay across activity in the team, manage deadlines and provide status updates.
  • Empathy and understanding of the needs of First Nations law students in our First Nations legal cadetship program.
  • Ability to connect with external First Nations stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop good working relationships with a wide range of internal stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality.
