About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage an APS6 Security Analyst. This position is located in their busy Barton ACT office for an initial contract until September 2025.
  
About the Position
The APS6 Security Analyst will be a member of the Strategic Assessment, Investigations and Threat analysis section. You will contribute to assessing key threats and developing mitigations for security risks and vulnerabilities in our global operations.

Duties

• Contribute to the development of strategic security enhancement projects
• Develop and deliver effective communications of complex concepts
• Respond to diplomatic security threats, risks and trends
• Build and develop collaborative relationships with stakeholders
• Develop innovative solutions to security problems
• Prepare briefing material and policy guidance
• Other related duties as tasked or required.

Requirements/Skills

• Positive Vetting (PV) clearance preferred, minimum Negative Vetting Level 2 (NV 2).
• Certificate IV Government investigations
• Knowledge of the Australian Government’s Protective Security Policy Framework
