About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government Agency to engage an ASO5 Senior Client Engagement Officer. This position is located in their busy ACT office for an initial contract starting 23/09/2024 until 31/03/2025.
About the Position
Senior Client Engagement Officers are responsible for engaging with clients to ensure effective service at all stages of the process. Responsibilities include tenancy management; liaising with clients when tenancies breakdown; and responding to complaints.
Senior Client Engagement Officers may also represent client at selected forums and provide support for other business units as required. Well-developed communication skills, cultural awareness, an understanding of the complexities of housing and respect for people are important knowledge and attributes for this position.
Duties
- Engage services and match clients to ensure stable tenancies.
- Undertake assessments of complex client needs.
- Liaise directly with clients and monitor housing debt.
- Manage maintenance and conduct client visits.
- Respond to complaints and coordinate with other business units.
- Represent the client at forums and maintain relationships.
- Develop ideas for service improvement and change.
- Prepare tenancy documentation accurately as required.
- Manage and track documentation to maintain high-quality records.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, and policies.

- Deliver high-quality customer service and support to diverse clients.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Understand and apply relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct research and analysis to provide sound advice.
- Work independently and cooperatively in a team environment.
- Current driver’s licence.
- Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
