About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government Agency to engage a Safety in Design Business Partner. This position is located in their busy Adelaide office for an initial 9–month contract.
  
About the Position
To support the implementation of Safety in Design into the Capital Delivery portfolio. To actively participate in capital delivery activities to monitor and support the effectiveness of Safety in Design processes and outcomes in delivering great customers outcomes.

Flexible hours and some after hours as required, some intra and interstate travel. 

Duties

• Working with business partners creating a constructive culture for Safety inDesign
• Lead effectively to achieve team goals
• Provide support to the Safety in Design Specialist
• Drive consistent and effective application of the SiD principles
• Provide support guidance and education of the SiD Process and WHS legislation
• Facilitate safety in design and similar workshops
• Monitoring and audit SiD process
• Support monthly and other periodic reporting requirements.
• Support the partnering relationship with key stakeholders
• Back up and support other SiD, Design and H&S Services staff as required

Requirements/Skills

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive relevant experience
• Demonstrated competencies in capital delivery / design processes
• Demonstrated competencies in SiD principles, systems, and processes
• Experience in workshop facilitation, internal auditing and WHS risk management strategies
