About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage an APS4 Establishment Officer. This position is located in their busy ACT office for an initial 6-month contract with possible extension until 30/06/2025. 
  
About the Position
As a grants Establishment Officer, you will provide a range of administrative duties and support to various stakeholders of the Grants Establishment team.

Duties

  • Analysis of grant information and data
  • Assist in the production documents for service providers
  • Complex data entry
  • Assist with monitoring group mailboxes
  • General administrative tasks as required
  • Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships
  • Identify, document and escalate issues and risk
  • Undertake a range of assurance functions to support the team
  • Contribute to a high-performing team culture
  • Contribute to developing solution-focused ways of working
  • Assist in embracing change
  • Participate in business improvement projects

Requirements/Skills

  • Prior Federal Government experience is preferred
  • Proficient with MS Office, especially Teams, Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a team
  • Developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt communication skills to the audience
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Ability to know when to support others and when to ask for support
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Able to identify business improvement and learning opportunities
