About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government Agency to engage a Full Stack Developer. This position is located in their busy Eveleigh, Sydney office for an initial 6–month contract.
Duties
- Design and develop scalable and maintainable software solutions for the Asset Management System using PHP
- Implement front-end components and user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks
- Build and maintain backend services and APIs using PHP and Python
- Manage Oracle database operations
- Develop APIs & data interfaces to enable seamless integration of the AMS
- Write unit tests, conduct integration testing, and perform debugging
- Collaborate with QA engineers to develop test strategies
- Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions to track system performance metrics
- Create technical documentation
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Requirements/Skills
- Proven experience (10+ years) as a Full Stack Engineer or similar role, with proficiency in PHP (core PHP), JavaScript, and Python.
- Strong knowledge of frontend development frameworks
- Experience with Oracle database management including SQL, PL/SQL, schema design, and performance tuning
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Oracle Certified Professional) desirable.
- Solid programming skills in relevant languages (e.g. PHP, Python, JavaScript)
