About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage an APS4 Customer Contact Officer. This position is located in their busy Brisbane CBD office for an initial contract until the 30/06/2025.
About the Position
Customer Contact Officers are responsible for providing accessible, efficient and consistent orientated experience in accordance with the Commission’s guidelines and procedures.
Duties
- Respond to contacts via phone, email and web forms during business hours based on a team roster.
- Provide timely resolution of contacts
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of contacts using the Commission’s record and business systems, including Resolve, MS Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, and Excel.
- Provide information to educate customers on the role
- Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the priorities of a team and effectively manage individual workloads.
- Attend, and participate in, team meetings or training when required
- Complete all required mandatory training programs as required by the Entity. The timing and completion of the training will be discussed and agreed with the Entity’s contact officer; and
- Work for standard business hours, which are 7 hours 30 minutes or as otherwise advised by the Entity, with a minimum 30-minute lunch break mandatorily required. If Personnel are required to work weekends, public holidays and Entity stand down periods, prior written approval from the Entity must be obtained.
Requirements/Skills
- 40% Working from Home post 3 months Probation e.g. 2 days on a 5 day roster
- Must be an Australian Citizen
