Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government Agency to engage a Quality Assurance Officer. This position is located in their busy Stirling ACT office for an initial contract until 30/06/2025.
About the Position
We are seeking a highly motivated early childhood professional looking to expand their knowledge and further their career. Professional officers in the Quality Assurance team play a critical role in supporting continuous quality improvement in the education and care sector.
The Quality Assurance Officer will work in partnership with education and care providers in supporting compliance and promoting quality for children and their families in education and care settings under the Education and Care Services National Law (ACT) Act 2011.
Duties
- Independently manage and undertake assessment and rating processes
- Provide professional support and information on education and care
- Liaise and negotiate with non-government and government organisations
- Engage with stakeholders
Requirements/Skills
- Demonstrated thorough knowledge, understanding and the ability to work with the Education and Care Services National Law (ACT) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011
- Demonstrated well developed written skills including the preparation of formal reports, and correspondence.
- Tertiary qualifications and experience in education and care is required.
- A current driver’s licence
- Current NQA Authorised Officer status is desirable.
- Valid Working with Vulnerable People Check
