About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage an APS5/6 Project Support Officer. This position is located in their busy Alice Springs office for an initial 6-month contract, with possible extensions available.

About the Position
The APS5/6 Project Support Officer will support the development, coordination, and delivery of a comprehensive stakeholder engagement and communications program for a key remote project, ensuring alignment with other programs that support remote jobs and economic development.

Duties

  • Support the development, coordination, and delivery of a comprehensive stakeholder engagement and communications program.
  • Identify and foster enduring relationships with key stakeholders in Central Australian communities.
  • Develop communications and other written products to support community consultations and the design and implementation of the Remote Training Hubs Network.
  • Provide advice and guidance to ensure all engagement activities are culturally sensitive and respectful.

Requirements/Skills

  • Must be an Australian Citizen.
  • Must have active Baseline Security Clearance.
  • Experience in Commonwealth procurement and grants processes, including preparation of procurement documentation and related administration, would be an advantage.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ideally based in Alice Springs or surrounds.
