About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government Agency to engage a Call Centre Operator. This position is located in their busy Newcastle office for an initial contract from 21/3/2025 – 19/9/2025 + possible extension. 
  
About the Position
The Contact Centre Operator handles incoming calls and emails by identifying customers’ needs, clarifying information, and providing solutions.

Requirements/Skills

• Customer service experience (call centre, admin, retail).
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft office suite, particularly Outlook and Team.
• Need excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong email and phone etiquette.
• Previous experience in an office environment would be beneficial.
• Tech savvy and confident in picking up new systems quickly.

Special Conditions

• Must attend every day of the initial 2-week training
• Nesting period is 12 weeks followed by an assessment
• Working from home will be considered after passing assessment
