Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government Agency to engage an AO6 Senior Instructional Designer. This position is located in their busy Brisbane office for an initial contract from 17/03/2025 – 30/06/2025 + possible 12-month extension. 
  
About the Position
The purpose of the Senior Instructional Designer is to support the design and development of relevant, engaging and accessible capability development programmes and educational resources for teams in the areas of regulation and compliance.

Duties

• Develop engaging and accessible learning materials using best-practice instructional design methodologies.
• Apply adult learning principles to create innovative and effective training solutions.
• Design, develop, and implement blended learning solutions, including e-learning, face-to-face, and virtual training.
• Support the evaluation and improvement of training programs.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to align learning content.
• Maintain and administer learning management systems (LMS).

Requirements/Skills

• Experience in instructional design, adult learning, and UX principles.
• Proficiency in instructional and graphic design tools, such as Articulate 360, Adobe Suite, and Vyond.
• Strong knowledge of learning management systems (Blackboard, ELMO, Moodle preferred).
• Experience in program evaluation and continuous improvement strategies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
