Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage a Service Design and Innovation Strategic Designer. This position is located in their busy Canberra office for an initial contract until 30 June 2025 with a possible extension option.
  
About the Position
The role would see you applying human centred design principles in a government setting, facilitating discussions in a number of settings including workshops, showcases and immersive sessions and engaging stakeholders to derive innovative solutions.

Duties

• Leading the development and implementation of human-centred evidence-based design and design thinking principles to support strategic conversations and outcomes for stakeholders
• Lead the transformation of innovative ideas into tangible concepts including business models, frameworks, services and products to propose improvements
• Scope a range of complex concepts in a clear and accessible way in writing, verbally and visually using a variety of techniques including storytelling, mapping and modelling
• Build cases for change based on data and best practices

Requirements/Skills

• Qualifications relevant to human-centred design, strategic or service design methodologies and practices
• 3+ years experience in similar fields or positions
