Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage an Application Architect. This position is located in their busy Canberra office for an initial 12 month contract.
  
About the Position
The role would see you design, implement and evolve the application environment within the department and enhance, develop and maintain a suite of technologies to drive capability uplift and learning and development outcomes.

Duties

• Working with a broad range of stakeholders to undertake complex business needs analysis and system infrastructure designs
• Lead and development of learning technologies and systems that drive capability uplift
• Ensure project risks are identified and mitigated and establish and maintain technical knowledge base across both hardware and software
• Apply project management principles and evaluate completed projects to ensure deliverables remain effective
• Lead the creation of digital training products 

Requirements/Skills

• Experience providing tier 3 support
• Proven experience producing high-level system designs, project management and implementing learning technologies
• Demonstrated knowledge of current trends in digital learning standards such as SCORM and xAPI
• Experience with Acorn LMS or similar Learning Management Systems would be highly desirable
