About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage an APS5 Information Governance Officer. This position is located in their busy Canberra office for an initial contract until 12-month contract.
About the Position
The Information Governance Officer is an enabling role within the ICT Service Delivery team and works closely with other areas of the business, other government agencies and stakeholders.
Duties
- Oversee helpdesk services to staff, including advice, support and training on general information management and governance policies, procedures and compliance
- Manage and update the Information and Record Management Team’s intranet pages and the ICT and Data Branch’s governance documentation
- Undertake capabilities in developing compliance requirements
- Provide Secretariat support to information governance working groups
Requirements/Skills
- Direct experience in information asset management in Microsoft 365, including Teams and SharePoint
- Understand information, records and security legislation, government policies and procedures
- Ability to obtain Baseline Security Clearance/Australian citizen
