About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage an APS6 Clinician. This position is located in their busy Maroochydore office for an initial 12 month contract with a possible 12 months extension.
About the Position
The APS6 Clinician provides high-quality, trauma-informed mental health support to individuals and families, including risk assessment, counselling, and case management. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care, maintain client records, and contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of clinical services.
Duties
- Provide trauma-informed clinical care
- Conduct intake and risk assessments
- Develop evidence-based treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain confidential client records
Requirements/Skills
- Relevant health or counselling qualification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in mental health support
- Sound judgment and problem-solving
- Proficient in IT and documentation
