Recruitment Contracts Provided to the Commonwealth

Project description
Through the Indigenous Procurement Policy’s the goal of delivering at least 3% of contracts within the Department to businesses that are 50% Indigenous owned. Due to this procurement target Karlka Recruiting Group have been awarded 52 Contracts since 2015. Through our contracts with various Commonwealth Departments we have provided security cleared candidates, Policy/Program Officers, Administrators, Grant Officers, Scribes, Procurement Officers, Executive Assistants, Research officers, Property Officers, Data Administrators, Project Officers and other APS contractors.

ATO Recruitment Panels

ATO Labour Hire & Recruitment Services Panel (Indigenous Businesses) (SON 3291540)

Project description
Karlka Recruiting Group is currently on the preferred supplier list for the ATO Labour Hire & Recruitment Services Panel and have been awarded 58 Contracts through this panel. Under this contract we have provided Administrators, Policy/Program Officers, Tax Specialists, Relationship Managers, Finance Officers, Communication Officers, Procurement Officers, Compliance Officers, Creative Designers and other non-IT related contractors.

Project description
Karlka Recruiting Group is currently on the preferred supplier list for the ATO IT Contractor Panel and have been awarded 7 Contracts through this panel. Under this contract we have provided ICT Infrastructure Engineers, IT Project Managers, IT Architects, SQL Database Administrators and other ICT related contractors.

Bulk Recruitment Projects

Department of Education and Training Shortlisting of EL1 & EL2 applications bulk round

Project description
The Department of Education and Training ran an Executive Level 1 and Executive Level 2 bulk selection exercises and engaged Karlka Recruiting Group to assist in the shortlisting of the applications. This project involved the reviewing of the applicants’ one page pitch and CV using a methodology that was agreed upon between the Department and the Karlka Recruiting Group Scribes. Karlka Recruiting Group provided 6 scribes throughout this project and also provided constructive feedback to unsuccessful candidates.

Graduate Program Projects

Department of Education and Training Provision of Graduate Recruitment Services

May 2017 – Aug 2017
Project description
Karlka Recruiting Group was selected to deliver Department of Education and Training’s recruitment activity for the 2018 Graduate Program. This required the assessment of written applications, provision of an online motivational / organisation values fit test and ad hoc reference checks. On top of this, Karlka Recruiting Group designed and delivered an online assessment activity which assessed reading, comprehension and writing capability suitable for university graduates. This was designed, delivered and wholly managed by Karlka Recruiting Group. Delivery was via an online portal that we hosted and assessment scores were inputted into eRecruit directly.

Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development 2018 Graduate Development Program

Project description
Karlka Recruiting Group assisted the Department with the recruitment process for the 2018 Graduate Development Program. This involved the shortlisting of 800 applications, the coordination of 150 candidates to assessment centres and the assessing of 150 written exercises. Through the shortlisting and assessing process our team followed an agreed methodology to ensure consistency in our approach. Further to this, we also completed 120 reference checks that were delivered on time and in full to the Department.

Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development 2016-17 Uni Vacation Employment Program

Project description
Karlka Recruiting Group assisted the Department with the shortlisting stage of their 16-17 UVEP intake whereby all applications were assessed using an agreed methodology and scoring mechanism. Following this, the Department conducted interviews where Karlka Recruiting Group provided scribing services for both panels. Then in the final selection report, our team created reports based on interviews were provided to the Department contact by the due date. The report included comments for each candidate that are in depth and provided a good basis from which to compare candidates.
