About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage an APS5 Admin Data Manager. This position is located in their busy Canberra office for an initial 12 month contract.
About the Position
Data Managers support organisations with the sourcing, acquisition, management, integration and sharing of data to provide business insights and drive data-based decision making.
Duties
- Accurately classify, capture, and store records in line with regulatory requirements and standards
- Provide system support to staff, including day‑to‑day user assistance, troubleshooting, and issue resolution;
- Deliver records and information management training and support to staff;
- Carry out routine administrative tasks, such as mapping activities, user registrations, and permission checks;
- Coordinate the retrieval of physical records from offsite storage providers and undertake physical records management activities;
- Administer and maintain the Policy Library on the intranet;
- Provide operational support to the project team during the transition from Content Manager to SharePoint
- Respond to ad hoc information management requests
Requirements/Skills
- Minimum 2 years supporting records or information management functions within a government or regulated environment
- Demonstrated knowledge and proven experience in the use of Content Manager/TRIM and MS teams/SharePoint.
- Experience in physical record management activities including liaising with offsite storage providers.
- Strong working knowledge of M365 especially SharePoint, MS teams, Outlook and Word.
- Ability to provide front line support for Content Manager/TRIM and MS teams
