About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government Agency to engage a Learning and Development Planner. This position is located in their busy Adelaide office for an initial 3 month contract.
About the Position
This is a training coordination and planning role, not a delivery or assessment position.
Duties
- Develop and maintain a training plan for the year ahead
- Schedule and coordinate external trainers
- Forecast participant numbers across regions
- Plan for blue‑collar licence and compliance‑based training
- Determine requirements such as:Forklift training, Equipment, facilities, and resources
- Build and maintain: Checklists, Templates, Planning tools and schedules
- High volume of phone conversations and interactions
- Liaising with regional and field‑based workers
Requirements/Skills
- Safety‑focused experience
- Exposure to high‑risk work environments
- Understanding of: Forklift licences, Construction tickets, Blue‑collar compliance‑based licensing
- Experience working within: Large organisations, Blue‑collar or field‑based workforces
