About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government Agency to engage Security Technicians. This position is located in their busy Blacktown office for an initial contract until August 2025.
  
About the Position
The role would involve maintaining and repairing a variety of alarm, video surveillance, access control and other security systems that are installed in schools and provide end-users with instruction and advice in regards to the use of those systems.

Duties

• Diagnose security system faults and undertake repairs with minimal supervision
• Provide schools and other stakeholders with high quality advice and assistance with security systems in a timely manner
• Collaborate with team members to share information and improve service delivery
• Demonstrate a proficiency and understanding of security software applications
• Maintain appropriate records and other documentation to ensure accurate security data for reporting and audit purposes 

Requirements/Skills

•  Current open drivers licence
•  Previous experience working with CCTV systems
•  Knowledge of Concept 4000 and Integriti systems (but not essential)
• Strong communication skills
