About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage an IT Midrange Developers. These positions are located in their busy Canberra and Brisbane locations for an initial contract until May 2026.
  
About the Position
The developer would support and develop applications using Visual Studio and .NET C# to enable the department’s digital projects, while contributing to the definition and refinement of automation testing capabilities across all projects with the department.

Duties

• Working with application security and identity management ie. OpenID and JWT
• Contribute to the definition and refinement of automation testing capabilities across all projects, including automation of existing manual regression suites
• Apply sound technical understanding of relevant automated test tools and related technologies eg. Selenium, Specflow and automation framework
• Understand and use Behaviour-Driven Development practices
• Apply understanding of SOLID principles, the HTTP protocol, REST, microservice patterns, T-SQL and NodeJS

Requirements/Skills

• Highly desirable to have experience with DevOps and CI/CD, with relevant experience using Azure DevOps and PowerShell
• Proven experience in defining test cases and organising testing plans with an enterprise level produce, preferably Azure DevOps Test Plans 
• Minimum of Baseline Security Clearance is essential
