Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a NSW based university to engage a Project Manager, Indigenous Strategy and Services (Indigenous Identified). This position is located in their Sydney campus for an initial two-year fixed term contract.
  
About the Position
As the Project Manager (Indigenous Strategy and Services), you will play a critical role in delivering high-priority initiatives that advance First Nation leadership, research, engagement, and cultural safety across the universities’ Business School.

Duties

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of projects within the Indigenous Strategy and Services portfolio
  • Work closely with the Associate Dean to implement initiatives that strengthen First Nations engagement and leadership
  • Manage project contracts, grants, and procurement processes, ensuring compliance and timely delivery
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including First Nations communities and partners 
  • Apply cultural capability and project management expertise to deliver outcomes on time and within scope


Requirements/Skills
 

  • Demonstrated experience in project management within higher education and/or public sector, and Indigenous community contexts
  • Strong understanding of Indigenous governance, cultural protocols, and community engagement
  • Experience managing large budgets, grants and procurement processes
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, with a culturally responsive approach
  • Committed to advancing Indigenous leadership and embedding Indigenous perspectives in institutional practice.
