Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage 2 x EL1 Product Owners. This position is located in their busy Canberra, ACT office for an initial contract from ASAP until 30/06/2026.

About the Position
The EL1 Product Owners lead the delivery of business capabilities aligned with legislative reforms. They translate complex policy into digital and operational requirements and ensure solutions meet program goals within a regulatory environment.

Duties

Represent business in agile delivery
Translate legislation into user stories
Guide ICT vendors and delivery teams
Engage stakeholders across disciplines
Ensure solution quality and compliance

Requirements/Skills

Product Owner experience in government
Strong legislative interpretation skills
Agile delivery and stakeholder engagement
Excellent communication and judgement
Vendor and project coordination
