About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government Agency to engage several Call Centre Operators.  This position is located in their busy Newcastle office for an initial contract until May 2026.
  
About the Position
As a Call Centre Operator, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers, providing information and support across a wide range of services. This role is ideal for those with strong communication skills and a passion for helping others.

Duties

• Respond to incoming customer enquiries via phone and email
• Provide accurate and timely information in line with policies and procedures
• Maintain detailed and accurate records in internal systems
• Operate effectively within a rotating roster from 7am to 7pm – Monday to Friday
• Follow a structured training and nesting period to build product knowledge and confidence 

Requirements/Skills

• Demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly
• 2–3 years customer service experience (call centre, admin, or retail)
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong computer skills – Outlook, Teams, typing, email etiquette
• Must be based in NSW as the role is onsite only
