About the company

Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage a Senior Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer. This position is located in their busy office across Australia initial 6-month contract with the possibility of further extensions.

  
About the Position

This role sits within a highly collaborative automation delivery team responsible for designing, developing and administering secure Robotic Process Automation solutions in a regulated government environment. The Senior RPA Developer will contribute to end‑to‑end automation delivery, apply best‑practice RPA design standards and support knowledge sharing across the team, while working closely with technical and business stakeholders.

Duties

  •  Design, develop, test and deploy robust Robotic Process Automation solutions
  • Produce and contribute to process and solution design documentation in line with recognised RPA delivery models
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver efficient, contemporary automation outcomes
  • Apply critical thinking and problem‑solving skills to address complex technical challenges
  • Ensure development complies with secure coding practices and mandated government standards
  • Share technical knowledge and mentor team members to uplift RPA capability

Requirements/Skills

  • Proven experience developing RPA solutions using Blue Prism
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently
  • Experience operating in a structured, regulated or enterprise environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain productive stakeholder relationships
  • Australian Citizenship and ability to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance
  • Desirable: Blue Prism Developer Certification or relevant ICT qualifications
