Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage an EL1 Senior Systems Analyst (SAP HR). This position is located in their busy Brisbane, Canberra or Melbourne office for an initial 12-month contract. 
  
About the Position
The EL1 Senior Systems Analyst will support the design and delivery of ICT solutions aligned with business objectives within a large-scale enterprise environment. Working within a collaborative and high-performing team, you will contribute to solution design, requirements analysis, and system enhancements, ensuring technical outcomes align with strategic priorities.

This role requires strong stakeholder engagement skills, the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, and experience working within complex government or enterprise environments.

Duties

• Support solution design activities and translate business requirements into technical outcomes
• Lead or contribute to feasibility analysis and requirements definition
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify process improvements and system enhancements
• Contribute to planning, implementation, and delivery of ICT solutions
• Prepare and review technical documentation and reports
• Provide specialist advice and support continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements/Skills

• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Systems Analyst or similar role within complex ICT environments
• Experience with SAP ECC6, particularly HR-related modules (e.g., payroll, organisational management, time management) highly desirable
• Strong requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and solution design skills
• Ability to work independently and provide expert advice at a senior level
• Experience within Federal Government or large enterprise environments preferred
• NV1 Security Clearance Desired (ability to obtain would be accepted)
