Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government Agency to engage an Senior Software Engineer. This position is located in their busy Sydney NSW office for an initial 6-month contract.
  
About the Position
The role delivers working and reliable data and software components, continuously developing and assessing the systems to keep abreast of new technologies and applying this knowledge to new and existing related systems to meet organisational objectives.

Duties

• Deliver end‑to‑end software development across the full SDLC
• Analyse functional and non‑functional requirements and produce clear design specifications
• Develop, test, debug and maintain reliable, high‑quality software
• Support application releases and ongoing system improvements
• Maintain accurate documentation and bug tracking to quality standards
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to deliver strong outcomes

Requirements/Skills

• Proven experience delivering high‑quality software solutions and projects within large, complex organisations, with well‑developed analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent demonstrated professional experience.
• ServiceNow experience
