About the Client
Karlka Recruiting Group is based in Shailer Park QLD and we are looking to engage a Timesheets & Payroll Officer in a full time or part time capacity.
About the Position
The role provides administrative, data, accounts, and payroll support to labour‑hire candidates, clients, and internal management, with a strong focus on timesheet and payroll processing.
Duties
- Manage the daily Timesheets inbox and monitor incoming submissions
- Investigate and resolve weekly timesheet delays and discrepancies
- Maintain the payroll system including entering timesheets and new starters
- Create and update worker profiles in payroll and internal systems
- Process reimbursements for labour‑hire candidates
- Perform data entry across client and internal systems
- Liaise daily with clients, contractors, and stakeholders regarding timesheets, pay, onboarding, and system queries
- Navigate multiple timesheet systems and the JobAdder CRM
- Review business practices and suggest improvements where required
- Undertake other ad‑hoc administrative duties as required
Requirements / Skills
- Previous experience in a data‑focused role requiring high attention to detail
- Experience working to competing deadlines
- Ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 including Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in administration, client service, or data entry
- Confidence communicating over the phone and resolving issues
- Understanding of the government sector and or labour‑hire environment is preferred
