Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage 4 x APS6 Clinicians. These positions are located in their busy Mount Gravatt or Bundall offices for an initial 24 month contract.
  
About the Position
The APS6 Clinician provides mental health assessment, counselling and case management services to eligible clients using evidence based clinical practices. The role supports client care planning, risk management and ongoing review of counselling outcomes.

Duties

• Conduct clinical intake and risk assessments
• Provide evidence based counselling to eligible clients
• Deliver individual, couple and family counselling services
• Maintain confidential client records and case notes
• Coordinate care with internal and external service providers
• Prepare clinical documentation and progress reports

Requirements/Skills

• Australian Citizenship
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance
• Registered mental health clinician
• Relevant counselling or allied health qualifications
• Experience delivering trauma informed mental health counselling
