About the Position
The Senior Waste Contracts And Projects Officer plays a key role in delivering sustainable waste and resource recovery services through effective contract management, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery. Working within a dynamic local government environment, you will oversee waste and recycling service contracts, support operational improvements, and contribute to initiatives that enhance community outcomes and environmental sustainability.

Duties

• Manage waste contracts and performance
• Deliver waste and recycling projects
• Liaise with contractors and stakeholders
• Review development applications advice
• Prepare reports and recommendations

Requirements/Skills

• Contract management experience
• Waste or recycling industry knowledge
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Project management capability
• Clear written and verbal communication
