About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government Agency to engage a Manager Recovery, Systems, Assurance and Strategic Projects. This position is located within NSW for the contract duration of 20/07/2026 to 11/10/2026.

About the Position
This role focuses on enhancing systems, processes and services while ensuring governance, assurance activities and platforms are aligned with organisational strategy. The position supports continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis, reporting and project delivery.

Duties

  • Research and analyse data to identify issues and prepare reports
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators
  • Develop policies, procedures and work instructions
  • Project manage multiple initiatives with competing priorities
  • Coordinate and deliver internal audit programs
  • Identify improvement opportunities through analysis and research
  • Engage stakeholders to support improvement initiatives
  • Provide high level advice on complex matters
  • Support business planning activities
  • Provide operational support to management as required 

Requirements/Skills

  • Minimum two years’ experience managing database software and data reporting
  • Experience in workers compensation or injury management
  • Experience developing and implementing systems and processes
  • Experience delivering training or education on data trends and systems
  • Proven project management and change management experience
  • Strong organisational skills in high volume environments
  • Analytical skills with ability to interpret and report on data
  • Problem solving skills for business improvement initiatives
  • Experience in continuous improvement and process optimisation
  • High level written and verbal communication skills
  • Current NSW driver’s license and willingness to travel if required
