About the company

Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a leading energy infrastructure organisation to engage a Change Management Consultant. This position is located in their Melbourne office for an initial six-month contract.
 
About the Position
 
The Change Management Consultant will support the Change Manager on a large-scale technology separation program arising from a business divestment.

Working across a complex systems and data transition, the consultant will help prepare impacted teams for change, support stakeholder engagement and communications, and coordinate change readiness and cutover activities.
  
Duties

  • Conduct stakeholder, change impact, gap and training needs analyses
  • Develop change management, communication and stakeholder engagement plans
  • Identify people-related risks and anticipated resistance and develop appropriate mitigation strategies
  • Conduct change readiness assessments and clearly present findings
  • Develop communications, training and business engagement materials
  • Support cutover and transition planning alongside technical deployment activities
  • Coordinate remediation activities required to complete the technology separation
  • Work closely with project teams to integrate change activities into the broader project plan
  • Monitor and report on change adoption, utilisation and proficiency

Requirements/Skills

  • Demonstrated experience delivering change within complex technology or transformation programs
  • Experience supporting a technology separation, business divestment or acquisition is strongly preferred
  • Hands-on experience conducting change impact analysis and readiness assessments
  • Demonstrated experience developing stakeholder engagement and communication plans and materials
  • Experience supporting cutover, transition and remediation activities within complex programs
  • Sound knowledge of structured change management principles and methodologies
  • Strong organisational, strategic planning and implementation skills
  • Excellent written communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement capabilities
  • Relevant change management qualifications or certifications
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and adaptive environment
