About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage an EL1 Senior DevOps Engineer. This position is located in Canberra ACT for an ASAP – 30 June 2027 contract.
About the Position
The role is responsible for establishing and maintaining Azure DevOps pipelines, repositories, and deployment artefacts while ensuring solutions remain secure, resilient and automated. The position also supports complex application environments through monitoring, troubleshooting and deployment optimisation.
Duties
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes
- Configure and maintain development, testing and production environments
- Develop automation solutions using PowerShell, ARM templates, Bicep and YAML
- Implement monitoring, alerting and automated testing solutions
- Troubleshoot complex applications across cloud and on-premise environments
Requirements/Skills
- Extensive experience building and maintaining Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub
- Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining Azure resources and cloud platforms
- Experience developing automation and deployment scripts using PowerShell
