About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government organisation to engage a Guardianship Administration and Support Officer. This position is located in NSW for a contract until 28/02/2027.
About the Position
The Guardianship Administration and Support Officer provides administrative, coordination and client-related support to assist guardians with day-to-day guardianship matters. The role supports record keeping, stakeholder liaison, document preparation, information gathering and administrative activities to ensure matters progress in a timely and organised manner.
Duties
- Maintain accurate client records, update systems and manage documents
- Record actions, decisions and assist with file organisation
- Coordinate information required for guardianship decision-making
- Request documents and follow up with service providers
- Respond to customer enquiries and support client-related activities
- Prepare, collate and distribute documents and correspondence
- Coordinate meetings and stakeholder communications
- Undertake routine contact with service providers and relevant stakeholders
- Assist with diary coordination and administrative follow-up tasks
- Support team priorities and ensure tasks are completed on time
- Participate in team meetings, training and continuous improvement activities
Requirements/Skills
- Relevant qualifications or experience in administration, community services, disability, health, aged care, social services, legal administration or a related field
- Demonstrated experience providing administrative and coordination support in a complex service environment
- Ability to maintain accurate records and manage documents using information systems
- Strong professional communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience using office software, document management systems and workplace technology
- Current driver’s licence may be required depending on operational needs
