About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government Agency to engage 6 x Contract Administrators. This position is located in their busy Sydney CBD office for an initial contract commencing ASAP through to 31/01/2027.
About the Position
The Contract Administrator will provide post-award contract administration support across major infrastructure projects and operational services. The position will manage contract performance, payment claims, variations, reporting and supplier relationships while ensuring compliance with relevant government procurement policies, contractual requirements and legislation.
Duties
- Develop and maintain Contract Management Plans, contract registers, KPIs, governance arrangements and risk controls
- Review and assess payment claims, variations, claims and invoices against contractual and legislative requirements
- Monitor supplier performance and support the management of strategic supplier relationships
- Prepare contract correspondence, briefing notes, expenditure approvals and monthly progress reports
- Assist with budget analysis, cost reporting, forecasting and the preparation of future works packages
- Provide guidance to stakeholders on procurement and contract administration procedures
Requirements/Skills
- Demonstrated experience in post-award contract administration or contract management
- Strong understanding of government procurement frameworks, probity and contract management practices
- Experience assessing payment claims, variations and contractual claims
- Sound commercial acumen, including budgeting, cost reporting and forecasting
- Strong written communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience
- Experience within transport, infrastructure, construction or another complex project environment will be highly regarded
