Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage Enterprise Solution Architect contractors for a 12-month contract based in Canberra ACT.

About the Position
The Enterprise Solution Architect will provide architecture guidance, governance, and strategic direction across technology initiatives. The role focuses on solution architecture, technology rationalisation, enterprise resilience, and architectural risk management.

Duties

• Lead architecture outcomes supporting a secure and integrated digital ecosystem
• Drive technology rationalisation and reduction of technical debt
• Develop and maintain reference architectures, standards, and blueprints
• Identify and integrate emerging technologies and automation opportunities
• Manage architectural risks and critical dependencies across initiatives
• Support cohesive technology delivery through stakeholder engagement

Requirements/Skills

• Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Demonstrated 7+ years of experience in technical design, software development, or system/platform administration
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience analysing business and technical requirements
• Experience managing multiple streams of work in resource-constrained environments
• Solution Architecture (ARCH) Level 5
• Systems Design (DESN) Level 5
• Requirements Definition and Management (REQM) Level 5
• TSPV Security Clearance required
