About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government organisation to engage a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator for a 6 month contract (extensions may occur) in Sydney.

About the Position
The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for coordinating preventative and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring assets are maintained to required standards, and managing maintenance delivery across a designated asset portfolio.

Duties

  • Coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance activities across facilities assets
  • Act as the primary operational contact for maintenance related matters
  • Identify maintenance issues and arrange appropriate actions and service responses
  • Conduct inspections and report on repair and maintenance requirements
  • Respond to maintenance requests and undertake minor maintenance works where required
  • Manage maintenance activities from planning and scoping through to delivery
  • Coordinate contractors and service providers, including performance monitoring and quality assurance
  • Review maintenance practices and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Ensure maintenance activities comply with organisational safety requirements
  • Complete maintenance documentation and reporting in accordance with established procedures
  • Undertake regular site inspections across the designated asset portfolio

Requirements/Skills

  • Trade Certificate in Electrical or HVAC and/or substantial current experience in building maintenance or maintenance environment
  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience using SAP and EQi systems
  • Ability to use SAP and EQi systems to manage maintenance activities, work orders, asset information and reporting
  • Recent Police Check within 6 months or willingness to undertake a Police Check
  • Ability to complete two professional reference checks
  • Ability to complete a Category 3 health assessment if required
  • Candidates must reside and work in NSW
