About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Leading Private-Sector Energy Infrastructure Company to engage a Senior Sourcing Specialist. This position is available in their busy Brisbane or Melbourne office for an initial 6 month contract.
About the Position
The Senior Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for delivering complex sourcing and procurement activities across MRO categories within an asset-intensive environment. This is a senior, hands-on position suited to an experienced sourcing professional who can hit the ground running and independently support new sourcing activities.
Duties
- Develop strategic sourcing strategies
- Establish supplier panels and agreements
- Conduct complex supplier negotiations
- Manage contracts and extensions
- Research supplier markets and opportunities
Requirements/Skills
- Senior sourcing experience required
- Asset-intensive industry experience preferred
- Electrical procurement experience highly desirable
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder skills
- Excellent planning and communication skills
