Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage an Information Management System Administrator. This position is located in Canberra for a contract commencing in November 2026. Applicants must hold a TSPV/PA security clearance.

About the Position
The Information Management System Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of critical software infrastructure. The role focuses on ensuring system stability, security and performance across operating systems, middleware, databases and information management systems.

Duties

• Manage and support operating systems, infrastructure software and utility software.
• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments and Oracle databases using SQL.
• Manage and optimise system software across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Monitor system performance and resolve complex software-related issues.
• Review, test and implement software updates while managing information management systems and EDRMS.

Requirements/Skills

• Proven experience administering Windows Server environments.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Experience managing middleware, operating systems and utility software.
• Familiarity with EDRMS or other information management systems.
• Experience with Oracle databases, SQL and infrastructure support.
