Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency seeking a Test Lead and Test Analyst for 6-month contracts based in Melbourne VIC or Parramatta NSW

  
About the Position
Seeking experienced testing professionals to support the delivery of complex data, analytics and integration solutions. Opportunities are available for both a Test Lead and Test Analyst, with responsibilities aligned to role level and experience.

Duties – Test Lead

• Lead functional testing across multiple delivery streams
• Develop and execute test plans aligned to testing strategy and quality approaches 
• Drive testing across data pipelines, system interfaces and analytics platforms 
• Manage testing risks, defects, dependencies and quality reporting 
• Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching and technical guidance to Test Analysts 
• Support planning, governance, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement initiatives 

Requirements/Skills – Test Lead

• Experience leading testing activities within data, analytics or integration environments
• Knowledge of databases, data warehousing, ETL processes and system integrations
• Experience developing test plans and supporting testing across multiple teams
• Strong risk assessment, defect management and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to mentor and develop Test Analysts

Duties – Test Analyst

• Design, execute and coordinate functional and end-to-end testing activities
• Support end-user testing activities
• Validate complex data, reporting and analytics solutions across multiple platforms
• Identify, analyse and manage defects to support quality outcomes
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, data engineers and solution teams
• Contribute to test planning, execution, traceability and quality reporting
• Help ensure solutions are reliable, accurate and ready for production deployment

Requirements/Skills –  Test Analyst

•  Experience delivering functional and end-to-end testing within complex technology environments
• Understanding of data-centric solutions, analytics outputs and system integrations
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments
• Strong defect management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to create effective test scenarios and test cases from requirements
