Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage an Assistant Project Officer. This position is located in their busy Dubbo office for an initial Immediate start date-6 months from commenced.
  
About the Position
This is an identified position – the hiring manager is keen to receive profiles from the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. 

Duties

  • Undertake and lead extraction, analysis, interpretation, and reporting on data from external and internal data sets to inform service delivery planning and resource allocation, client outcomes measurement, organisational performance reporting and reform initiatives.
  • Undertake data mining, data profiling and data analysis to inform service delivery practice and outcomes and to facilitate organisational continuous improvement.
  • Establish and maintain core internal and external data sets to meet the analysis and reporting needs of the organisation.
  • Implement proactive initiatives that identify issues with quality and consistency of data collected and held by AHO and its partner agencies to reduce potential limitations and ensure the useability of the data for analysis and reporting.
  • Prepare a range of project-related documents for key stakeholders as required, including status updates, reports, budgets and discussion papers to manage the flow of information.
  • Provide proactive and evidence-based advice and reports to the business unit leader, Director and/or the Executive Director to ensure matters that impact business unit current business and future decision- making are considered.
  • Provide specialist advice and recommendations to the Manager in support of performance monitoring and reporting governance processes for FACS to improve the efficiency and consistency of performance reporting. 

Mandatory Requirements:

  •  Cleared Police Check;
    a. Provide recent Police Check granted within 6 months; or
    b. Conduct Police Check (Organised by Karlka Recruiting Group upon Offer).
  • Two professional Reference Checks
  • Driver’s License is mandatory
