About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage an Project Officer. This position is located in their busy Brisbane office for an initial 6 Month Contract with possible extension.
About the Position
The Project Officer works within a team that is responsible for the design, delivery and management of various sector development initiatives which include: Strong Women Strong Business, Accelerate with the company, and the building of the financial confidence of First Nations peoples through programs and partnerships external stakeholders, researching sector initiatives, coordinating logistics, and providing administration support to the broader Directorate to assist delivering outcomes.
Duties
1. Participate in strategic projects, product development and other initiatives to innovate and develop new ways of creating positive outcomes for our customers.
2. Support the team to develop and maintain internal and external strategic relationships and partnerships with Indigenous businesses and organisations.
3. Provide project and administrative support and contribute to the development of processes and procedures to enable effective and efficient delivery and measurement of program outcomes.
4. Develop and manage a national network for ‘Women in Business’ including coordinating and facilitating workshops, programs, and events.
5. Oversee the management of gender specific social media and communication platforms.
6. Accurately capture, manage, and report information
Requirements/Skills
- Experience in building networks and partnerships, and maintaining productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, with a strong focus on designing and implementing initiatives.
- Well-developed customer focus displaying a commitment to quality customer service and to the customer being at the centre of everything they do.
- Ability to effectively communicate with a range of stakeholders.
- Ability to accurately capture and report information, meet deadlines and outcomes while working in a pressured environment.
- Sound project management experience and demonstrated ability to deliver identified project outcomes on time and within budget.
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills with the ability to draft briefing and report papers.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
