About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government Agency to engage a Call Centre Operator. This position is located in their busy Gosford NSW office for an initial period from 31/01/2025 – 30/07/2026.
About the Position
This role is for Call or Contact Centre Operators, part of a customer service team providing assistance to the public. Operators will be required to work within a team setting to deliver high-quality service while adhering to set business hours.
Duties
- Answer customer inquiries across multiple channels (phone, email, digital platforms)
- Resolve customer issues and provide relevant information
- Ensure efficient processing of customer requests
- Maintain high standards of service quality
Training & Nesting:
- Full-time (35 hrs/week) on-site training for 8-12 weeks
- Duration varies by product training and competency
- After training, transition to contracted hours with support from Team Leader & Subject Matter Expert
- Daily attendance required for comprehensive training
Hybrid Working Arrangements:
- No 100% work-from-home roles; hybrid options assessed post-training
- Contractors must be on-site at least 1 day/week and possibly more, based on business needs
- A attendance policy applies
Internet Requirements (if hybrid):
- High-speed internet: 5 Mbps download, 2 Mbps upload, latency <60ms
- Stable connection (Wi-Fi or Ethernet) required for home-based work
- Contractors responsible for internet & mobile costs
- Mobile phone with good reception required for contact & VPN access
