About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage an APS6 Senior Partnerships Officer. This position is located in their busy Parkes office for an initial 6 month contract with a possible 12 months extension option.
  
About the Position
Partnerships are central to the department’s ability to engage tomorrow’s innovators, designers and thinkers in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM).

Working closely with the Partnerships and Brand Development Manager, you would support the team in initiation, development, establishment and maintenance of the department’s partnerships and assist in deepening relationships with key stakeholders. 

Duties

  • Work collaboratively with teams across the department to develop, enhance and deliver high quality outcomes through partnerships, fundraising and philanthropic activities
  • Research and identify potential partnership and sponsorship opportunities 
  • Identify potential corporate, philanthropic and funding partners for the department
  • Maintain current partnership contracts and agreements ensuring obligations are met and develop new contracts/agreements as required
  • Draft briefing material and action the partnerships inbox
  • Analyse and communicate partner benefits and synergies between the department’s programs and potential relationships 
  • Support management of the partnerships budget
  • Key point of liaison and coordination between internal and external teams and partners


Requirements/Skills

  •  Currently Baseline security clearance is essential
