About the Company


Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a leading resources company to engage a Project Manager – Workday & ServiceNow Implementation. This position is located in their Brisbane CBD office for an initial contract until 09/08/2025, with potential for extensions.

About the Position

The Project Manager – Workday & ServiceNow Implementation will be responsible for overseeing the cutover activities of the Workday HCM and ServiceNow HRSD implementation projects. The role includes managing the transition from legacy systems to these platforms, ensuring quality control, and coordinating with multiple teams to ensure successful implementation.


Duties

  • Manage the cutover process for the Workday and ServiceNow projects, ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Develop comprehensive cutover plans, including timelines, dependencies, resources, and success criteria.
  • Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks that may impact cutover processes.
  • Track, prioritize, and resolve project issues, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Monitor and report on cutover progress, results, and issues.
  • Lead post-cutover reviews to identify areas for improvement in future cutovers.
  • Coordinate with the hypercare team to ensure platform stabilization after cutover.

Requirements/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in HCM cutover management for SaaS solutions.
  • Proven experience in deploying and implementing Workday and ServiceNow.
  • Expertise in managing test environments and developing environment management plans.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, organizing, and executing complex cutover activities.
  • Experience in agile methodologies and working in complex, global environments.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines under pressure.
