Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Private Company to engage a Senior Training, Learning and Development Specialist (Indigenous Identified). This position is located in their busy Brisbane or Mackay office as a Permanent Position.
About the Position
This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing learning and development programs that enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance. This role involves collaborating with key stakeholders to identify training needs, developing instructional materials, delivering training sessions, and evaluating program effectiveness.
Duties
- Develop and execute a comprehensive learning and development strategy that aligns with company goals and workforce needs.
- Conduct regular training needs analysis for all roles within the company.
- Identify gaps and suggest recommendations to ensure compliance with internal benchmarking and regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Ensure governance of the company training and development programs in partnership with subject matter experts to effectively deliver core concepts and create engaging learning experiences.
- Collaborate with the business to understand training and development needs, analyse learning requirements, and produce high-quality training/learning resources.
- Identify and develop new training modules and update existing training content to ensure ongoing relevance.
- Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions for employees at various levels using instructor-led training, e-learning, blended and microlearning solutions.
- Identify onboarding content for specific functional employee groups and partner with stakeholders to ensure onboarding is fit for purpose.
- Conduct post-training evaluations to assess learning outcomes and business impact, continuously improving programs based on feedback and emerging trends.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to facilitate training requests identified through the performance review process. Requirements/Skills Knowledge, Experience and Skills
ESSENTIAL:
1. Degree qualifications in a Human Resources Management, Learning and Development or related discipline.
2. Proven experience as a Training and Development Specialist or in a similar role.
3. Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
4. Excellent presentation and communication skills.
5. Proficient in using e-learning authoring tools and other training technologies, Articulate 360.
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Ability to demonstrate experience of working with a range of stakeholders.
7. Experience with competency-based frameworks and learning management systems would be highly regarded.
8. Ability to engage with and influence stakeholders at multiple levels of the organisation.
9. Ability to effectively manage and deliver against multiple priorities.
10. Experience of managing relationships with internal and external training providers and other HR professionals.
11. Experience of developing and implementing tailored Training and Learning and Development strategies.
