Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage an APS6 Associate Clinical Modeller Business Architect. This position is located in their busy ACT, NSW and QLD office for an initial 12-month contract, with possible extensions.
  
About the Position
The APS6 Associate Clinical Modeller Business Architect will be responsible for designing and evolving digital health capabilities through information modelling and clinical data structures. This role involves stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, and contributing to national health interoperability initiatives. You will operate with a high degree of independence while collaborating across teams and jurisdictions.

Duties 

  • Provide technical and specialist modelling expertise for digital health programs
  • Develop and deliver conceptual, information, and implementation models
  • Engage with national and international standards bodies and stakeholders
  • Contribute to strategic planning and lead innovation initiatives
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, manage work plans and resource allocation
  • Promote best practice modelling approaches and ensure compliance with standards


Requirements/Skills

  • Australian Citizenship (mandatory)
  • Baseline Security Clearance
  • Degree in Clinical Informatics or Information Technology, or equivalent experience
  • 2–3 years of information modelling experience
  • Proficiency with HL7 FHIR and associated tooling
  • Knowledge of Australian and international health data standards
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience in the health or government sectors
