Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government Agency to engage a Salesforce Developer. This position is located in their busy Parramatta NSW office for an initial contract until 4 May 2026. 
  
About the Role
This is a hands-on technical position focused on both BAU support and system improvements. You will work as part of a collaborative agile team, resolving incidents, delivering enhancements, and ensuring alignment with business needs. A core focus of this role is development using Salesforce OmniStudio (formerly Vlocity), including FlexCards, OmniScripts, and DataRaptors.

Key Duties

  • Deliver technical configuration and development using Salesforce OmniStudio components
  • Troubleshoot incidents, defects, and service requests
  • Develop enhancements and support release planning
  • Collaborate with analysts, testers, and administrators to ensure platform usability
  • Document solutions, mentor team members, and share technical knowledge
  • Identify opportunities for performance optimisation and automation

Requirements/Skills Essential:

  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer in large-scale environments
  • Hands-on expertise with OmniStudio (FlexCards, OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures)
  • Strong knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Lightning Flows
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery and tools like Azure DevOps
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a support/BAU setting
  • Understanding of CI/CD and Salesforce coding best practices

Desirable:

  • Salesforce certifications (OmniStudio, Platform Dev I/II)
  • Experience with system integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware)
  • Exposure to DevOps tools such as Gearset or Copado
  • Government or public sector experience
  • Familiarity with ITIL-based service models
