Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government Agency to engage a Senior Procurement Officer. This position is located in their busy Berkshire Park OR Parramatta office for an initial contract until March 2026.
  
About the Position
The role would manage the procurement function including tendering processes for acquiring assets, goods and services and for effective ongoing operations in compliance with policy and legislation.

Duties

• Provide quality professional advice to the executive team and other stakeholders in relation to procurement processes 
• Manage relationships between the department and contracted suppliers
• Develop tender evaluation plans and reporting and assist with negotiations
• Provide significant input into project scoping and development of procurement plans

Requirements/Skills

•  A background in public sector procurement would be highly desirable
•  Relevant procurement qualifications or professional background
•  Ability to work independently
